Annual General Meeting - Tuesday, April 18, 2006
Location: Best Western Lamplighter Inn (Canterbury Room), 591 Wellington Road, London.
The AGM was held and the Executive for the upcoming year was elected. Members were also updated on some things worth noting about our section:
- Scholarships and Donations Made
- $750 – Academic Scholarship – University of Western Ontario
- $750 – Academic Scholarship – Fanshawe College
- Membership increase – approximately 35 more. Total membership sitting around 350 members.

Following the AGM portion of the meeting, David Keegstra, Sr Manager Technlogy Planning - Wireless Access - Telus Mobility gave a presentation on "Forward view of Wireless Technologies". David looked at current wireless technology trends from the perspective of performance and ecosystem development. The presentation looked at some of the hype and assessed the "reality".
