Combustible & Toxic gas detection is an important safety aspect for any process plant. When selecting a gas detection system a clear understanding of different sensor technologies like Catalytic Bead, Infrared, Electro-Chemical, Solid State etc. are very important. A through analysis of application and selection of right sensor technology to match the application is important to ensure optimal performance, safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness. This seminar will walk you through various gas detection sensor technologies and discuss their advantages & disadvantages. This will also cover new development in gas detection technologies.

Larry works as a Director Sales and Marketing - Eastern North America for a leading Fire & Gas Detection equipment manufacturer Net-Safety Monitoring, located in Calgary , Alberta . Larry has been in the process industry for over 25 years and worked in various technical & marketing capacities for leading companies in the field. He has conducted training & seminars in both Canada and the U.S.A. to customer groups and engineering companies. He has Marketing Diploma from Fanshawe College , in London , Ontario , and is currently working towards his Bachelor of Science Degree, University of Western Ontario .
