At the IEEE Canada (Region 7) Spring Board Meeting on April 29 in Windsor, London section was presented with the 2017 IEEE Canada Exemplary Small Section award by President Witold Kinsner. The plaque was accepted by London section members in attendance – President-Elect Maike Luiken, IEEE Canada Adminisrator Kash Hussain, WIE Chair Elena Uchiteleva, and Central Area Chair Murray MacDonald

London had previously won this award in 2011.
